Ursula C. Keen, J.D.

Mesothelioma Lawyer

As a parent and an artist, Ursula Keen has a passion for life and how it can best be lived to inspire and aid others to reach their own potential. She is an advocate with an understanding of how much it means to have a trusted ally on your side in uncertain times. A desire to have a personal impact in a positive way on others in need keeps her spirits high as she becomes a voice for those who would not otherwise be heard.

Ursula Keen, an asbestos exposure attorney, graduated from Baylor School of Law on February 6, 1999. She received her undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Dallas on May 14, 1995. She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas on November 6, 2003, and was also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas in May 2005. During her career, Ms. Keen has drafted an appellate brief to the Fifth Circuit regarding the ADEA. She has also filed cases for federal employees before the MSPB. Currently, Ms. Keen is also the associate Municipal Court Judge for the City of Killeen. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Bell County Bar Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.

Echoing the sentiments of her colleagues, Ms. Keen is also proud of the personal attention that clients receive at the asbestos law firm of Cappolino, Dodd, and Krebs. Everyone feels important because they are and no one is made to feel like just a case number. She considers the firm to be a family that fights for other families. With good humor and a positive attitude, Ursula helps clients to feel at ease from the moment they enter the door.

Ms. Keen's own love of painting gives her the desire to one day help develop a gallery where inner city kids can display their art and where clients who are inspired can display their own stories through various creative media.
